Cristela Alonzo
Cristela Alonzo, born in 1977/1978, is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer who created and appeared on the ABC sitcom Cristela. She was the first Latina woman to design her own show, write, produce and star in her own US primetime comedy.
Childhood and early life
Alonzo was the eldest child of her four siblings. Her birthplace was San Juan Texas to Natalia Gonzalez her mother, who worked double shifts in an Mexican restaurant over the course of 20 years[5] and Adalberto Alonzo (both both from Mexico). Alonzo was the child of a mother and father who were abusive. Her mother abandoned her husband and left the children in the care of their father. Alonzo stated that she'd never seen her father, and that he passed away in 2009.
