Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November 1996. The model is as well as an Irish actor. After making her debut in a feature film with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to play Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Doovan played Charlotte as Taffin in 1988 and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Photographer approached Doody Doody began to model, which turned into a career in commercial modelling. Doody tried to stay clear of the glamour of nude roles that was a rule she followed in her acting. Once she caught the attention of the director of casting for the upcoming James Bond movie, she was cast of A View to a Kill in the role of Jenny Flex. Doody was in John Willis Screen World Volume 2. She was one of twelve promising new actors for 1986. 38. Doody was still only 18 years old when she made her appearance in the Bond part. As of today she's the newest Bond girl. A Prayer for the Dying (1997), starring Mickey Rourke, also featured a smaller role as IRA Siobhan. Doody played Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 TV adaptation from The Secret Garden. She also played Lilias. Doody's first leading role came in an episode from 1988 of the Jim Henson fantasy series The Storyteller in the role of Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. In the following film, she played her greatest role as Austrian archaeologist and Nazisympathiser Dr. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody is part of the James Bond family, having played alongside Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Doody played co-starring in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British miniseries Selling Hitler, which was an inspiration for the book fraud called the Hitler Diaries. Then she moved to Hollywood. The actress later became Flannery her agent, as well as her girlfriend for Major League II. She was chosen to be an alternative to Cybill Shepherd who had been L'Oreal's spokesperson. After almost a decade away from screen Doody returned to acting by playing a minor role in the 2003's British comedy movie The Actors with Michael Caine playing herself in an awards ceremony scene. She was in the film with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. In 2010, Doody was a character in Danny Dyer's film The Rapture (2010). She later guest starred in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to be the lead actress in a remake of horror classic The Asphyx but the project later stalled. In 2011, she started the first of two seasons on E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. She also appeared as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018, she was honored by the Almeria tierra de cine award and she received the honor of a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
