Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger, born February 22 1983 She is an American actress, comedian and executive producer. She was the winner of the NBC competition Last Comic Standing 2008 and has since hosted the syndicated dating program Excused and the TBS show Separation Anxiety.





 In 2017 Shlesinger was the host of her own talk show at night called Truth & Iliza on Freeform. In 2022, she's launched six comedy specials on Netflix. Her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show premiered on Netflix in April 2020.



 Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born New York City to a Jewish family. [6] She was brought to Dallas, Texas by her parents, who moved there when she was just a newborn. She was a student at the private Greenhill School in Addison, Texas where she took classes in Spanish as well as participated in the school's improvisation group.





 Shlesinger performed with ComedySportz Dallas. She also studied at the University of Kansas her freshman year. She was also a participant in Semester at Sea. She then moved to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. The college where she majored was film. While there she honed editing and writing abilities and was a part of Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a comedy group on campus.

 Shlesinger completed her college degree and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. Shlesinger was a popular member of the Whiteboy Comedy standup comedy group in Los Angeles. This brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
