Amy Carlson

 

Amy Lynn Carlson was born July 7th on the 7th of July in 1968. She is an American actress , best known for her roles on Blue Bloods as Linda Reagan, Alex Taylor, and Josie Watts on the NBC soap the show Another World.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Carlson was born in Elmhurst in Illinois [[DuPage County IllinoisElmhurst, Illinois] close to Chicago. She was raised in Glen Ellyn in Illinois by her parents, Robert Eugene Carlson and Barbara Jane (Hultman), teachers in the school. Carlson is of Swedish descent, and has roots in Smaland.



 



 Career



 1986-1992: The College years and the beginning of a career



 She was introduced to Hollywood when she worked as a background character in the film Lucas starring Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim, and Winona Ryder. Then, she joined her sister Betsy (Knox College) in Galesburg.
